Prof. Wesley Harris honored at 6th annual Inspire STEM gala

Professor Wesley Harris, Charles Stark Draper Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics and head of the Hypersonics Research Laboratory, was honored at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals 6th Annual Inspire STEM Scholarship and Awards Gala on February 24. Prof. Harris was recognized for his “exceptional leadership, career achievement, and significant contributions to our community and the advancement of STEM initiatives.”

With the theme “Black is STEM,” this year’s gala recognized Black History in the making and was hosted by Emmy-award winning news anchor Latoyia Edwards.

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Boston Professionals, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the academic & professional success of Black/African American engineering students and professionals.
