Beaver Works and BWSI

MIT Beaver Works is a collaborative initiative chartered by Lincoln Laboratory and the MIT School of Engineering. The program aims to introduce high school students to opportunities in engineering, research, and national service.

Each summer, Lincoln Laboratory and MIT run the Beaver Works Summer Institute, a world-class STEM program for high school students offering in-person courses in engineering, programming, and tech including autonomous vehicles on land, air, and water. AeroAstro hosts and runs several courses as part of BWSI, including the Small Satellite Collaborative’s the Build-A-Cubesat course, an excellent opportunity for high school students to get hands-on experience building, testing, and flying a 1U cubesat.
