AeroAstro Master’s Thesis Showcase celebrates milestones for graduate student researchers
Graduating master’s degree students presented their research at the department’s inaugural Master’s Thesis Showcase on May 14. Organized by the AeroAstro Communication Lab, the event provided a platform for researchers across labs to share their hard work with colleagues, faculty, and community members.
“Our goal was to create an opportunity to recognize and celebrate these students for their work as well as help others in the department, especially undergraduate students, see the types of research projects that are currently happening,” saysBrian Mernoff, Communication Lab Manager. “[The students] worked really hard to create their theses, I wanted to create something that recognized their accomplishment at this important point in their degree program.”
Beyond celebration, the showcase offered professional and academic growth opportunities. By practicing how to present their research visually and verbally, students gained confidence for future conferences and networking opportunities.
The Showcase launched a new tradition of recognition, outreach, and connection within the department. Congratulations to our 2025 SM graduates!
