Weichao Zhou
Bio: Weichao is a postdoctoral associate in the REALM lab in the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT. Prior to joining MIT, he graduated with a Bachelor degree from Fudan University in China and completed his Ph.D. degree from Boston University in 2024. His research interests span reinforcement learning and formal methods. His research projects are focused on using formal specifications and data-driven approaches to learn reward functions for reinforcement learner to attain high performance while maintaining safety in safety critical tasks. He has also worked on the robustness analysis of neural network control systems and backdoor attack detection on neural networks in various applications, including computer vision and reinforcement learning.
