The MIT Department of Aeronautics & Astronautics (AeroAstro) HBCU Partnership Program seeks to engage the next generation of graduate students pursuing their studies in aerospace engineering by providing access to the academics, research opportunities, and resources that the AeroAstro offers. At the national level, we aim to increase the diversity of Ph.D. students in aeronautics and astronautics.

We invite juniors and seniors from our partner institutions to explore research and education opportunities on MIT’s campus and engage with AeroAstro faculty and graduate students during a Fall Visit Campus Weekend on October 25-28, 2023, and a nine-week summer research program in 2024.
