About

The Astrodynamics, Space Robotics, and Controls Laboratory (ARCLab), led by Prof. Richard Linares, is a research group in the MIT Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Founded in 2018, the group’s research topics include astrodynamics, space situational awareness and space traffic management, satellite guidance and navigation, estimation and controls, reinforcement learning, and optimal control.

We welcome interest from exceptional graduate students enthusiastic about space exploration and astrodynamics. Students admitted to the Aeronautics and Astronautics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics should get in touch. For all questions about MIT graduate admissions, please contact the Department’s interim Graduate Program Administrator Beata Shuster at bshuster@mit.edu.
