Access
General Access to AeroAstro
To be granted access to the department’s general spaces, all members of the AeroAstro community must watch the Emergency Preparedness Plan.
The general spaces of the department are all exterior proxcard entrances to AeroAstro buildings, general entry into building 31, the Seamans Laboratory, the Gelb Laboratory, and the Neumann Hangar.

Access to Laboratories
All training must be completed before access to any laboratory will be granted.
You should start by affiliating with your PI at the Atlas Learning Center, followed by completing your Training Needs Assessment and Lab Specific Training.
Please consult with your PI or the lab’s AeroAstro EHS Representative if you have questions.
Access to Graduate Student Office Spaces
Please contact your PI or the Administrative Assistant for your Research Group.

UROPs
You need permission from the PI before affiliating with your PI on the Atlas Learning Center. Then, you must complete your Training Needs Assessment and Lab Specific Training.
Per MIT policy, UROPs are not allowed to work alone in a laboratory.
All training must be completed before access to any laboratory will be granted.
